Surfspot House

Kevin allowed us to use his bicycles which was fab. Nicely done place. Very quiet. A little bit away from the town centre but easy to walk and no problem at all with the bicycles.

The family who owns the place is very hospitable. They gave me useful advice about where to go and what to see. The room is clean and the bed comfortable. The hotel is located around 10 minutes out of town center by foot, but there’s a PX Mart and a 7-11 just around the corner.

The room is big and with a nice balcony where you can sit down to have your breakfast, the view is nice, field and have mountain at far behind, little egrets quite often flying pass. The bed is comfy, and the shower is powerful The host is very friendly, and respect your privacy, and also offered us a lift to the bus station There are 3 very cute indoor cats and 1 outdoor cat, which is a plus for the cat lovers.

There isn't hand wash or soap in the shower room, so have to go to the shower area to use the body wash instead

Awesome location, around 10mins walk to the main bus station, 7-11 just around the corner and lots of food options nearby. The owner was awesome, super helpful with food recommendations and helped us plan activities for our days in the area. The beds were comfortable, aircon worked perfectly, and the room was a great size!

A lovingly decorated and maintained guesthouse with a local surfing family. Every room is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated with unique surf inspired furnishings, with 2 of the in-room balconies facing a quiet grassland just behind the house. Comfort and cleanliness is 10/10, location is off a quiet street not far from the old town, close to plenty of eateries and convenient stores. The best part of the stay is the warmth and sincerity of the host family <3
