The Porlock Weir Hotel

Really lovely hotel for a 5 day staycation in Somerset. We had a room overlooking the beautiful weir. Good facilities and well decorated. The hotel provide free parking vouchers for the car park across the road which is great as it would’ve been £12 per day otherwise. The food is really very good and we chose to have dinner in the hotel 3 of the 5 nights as we actually couldn’t be bothered driving into Porlock. Breakfast was included and the choice was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating

A gem of a hotel, lovely position and good food. The staff couldnt have worked harder to look after us despite being short staffed due to Covid.

We had a problem with our room. Reception did move us for one night but decided not to extend our stay. The hotel is decorated beautifully. The guest lounge is a bonus. Food was very good. Staff very friendly and helpful

Nice staff but like or places they are short of staff Room very small for the price but a very nice clean room as you would expect for 4 star hotel

Our stay was amazing. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the guidelines in place due to Covid were very clear. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the service as fast. The food was excellent topped off by the view. We would definitely be coming back.

Lovely hotel, lovely location, excellent food, but the stand out for this hotel were the staff, who were excellent. Attentive but not overbearing. Lovely touch to recognise my birthday with a card.

We loved it. Very relaxing. The team were really helpful and rooms all new. Shower was great which is my usual measure for the room quality. Breakfast and dinner were good value. We plan to return.....
