"Lovely stay, great food, just be careful of the noisy kitchen extractor!"

The staff were excellent, they couldn’t have done more for you and always asked if they could help. We ate there on both evenings and the food was excellent.

The room we had was tired and could have done with a tidy up, also we were above the kitchen and were woken before 6am everyday when the extractor fan started up. Not a huge problem for us as we were going out early but if you were after lazy morning you might want to get a room away from the kitchen.

"Disappointed"

Comfortable bed. Staff listened and noted my grievances.

Poor quality tea, coffee etc in the room. Breakfast not worth £15. Droning noise and staff talking and laughing in the courtyard kept me awake. No heating in the room and lightbulb missing.

"Superb stay at the Lord Nelson"

Location, hotel, Bedroom, bar, dinner and breakfast were all excellent. Staff were very friendly. Hotel was clean , view superb and the Breakfast was very good. We really enjoyed the stay. 10/10.
