Sam'S VIP Hostel San Gil

Loved this place .Everyone is super friendly and helpful. May it be booking a tour, or getting any other kind of help one could need. Easy to connect with other travelers. They even organise a free Tejo night each week. From the pool you have a nice view on the Cerro De la Cruz. I ended up staying a week after planning just 3-4. :-)

It is not super quiet but that's a no-brainer due to the good location.

I spent a nice week at this hostel located right on the main square. The staff were amazing - helpful and friendly. The entire hostel was kept very clean the entire time. Pool and sauna were a nice touch. Perfect wifi for my online work - not always a sure thing in Colombia.

It's so comfy overall, the room is big and clean and the staff is super friendly. Many tours can be booked from the reception and at least the rafting tour that we booked was awesome! The rooftop pool and sauna are a nice touch.

Would be nice to have some hooks on the walls and hot water in the shower.

So comfortable, lovely places to hang out at the hostel, excellent coffee in the morning, secure moto parking, todos personales son muy amable🙏

Locations is on the main square. Staff are absolutely brilliant. Very friendly and helpful even with our poor Spanish. The Tejo night organised was a lot of fun and brought together travellers from all over the city. They also organised taxis to and from the event for free. Wasn’t very busy while we were there so not super social but I can imagine it would be if full as there are nice areas to hang out.
