Sam'S VIP Hostel San Gil

Great value hostel where you can feel right at home. The value for money is incredible! We were able to sit and watch the new year fireworks from the huge balcony and also watch the sunset by the pool. Huge place which is very well equipped.

The dorm room got quite hot and stuffy. When we asked for the AC to be turned on it was then very cold all night. Maybe an extra fan in the room would be the best solution.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Free coffee. Great location in front of the main square. Only two blocks from the market. The place is big and open, kept very clean, and there are a lot of well maintained bathrooms with hot showers and good water pressure. The internet is consistent. The common area has a huge T.V. and very comfortable furniture.

Centrally located, helpful and friendly staff, comfortable rooms.

There was parking, but with the number of cars (and some parked badly), it was difficult to get in and out of the parking space. Nevertheless, the hotel staff were very helpful.

It´s the best place for location, facilities and vibe to enjoy San Gil.

Girls at reception were very helpful with organizing all types of activities, and they guided us on how to get to different places for short visit. This is my second time on San gil after 9 years, and honestly, Sam's VIP has never disappointed me with the service, from the owner who was very aware about our arrival and Vanessa and Daniela at reception (they even teach to my mom typical dance from town and also explained about typical food from the area). For ever in love with Sam's VIP
