The space was large, but that's all

The location wasn't nice, it was near dirty narrow streets with not much to offer, party goes screaming till 4am, stairs into apartment were very steep don't bring big bags you will struggle. I would not recommend it at all

the hotel is located in the crowded area, there are lot of restaurants nearby.

my room is on 3rd floor but there is no elevator, it is very hard to pull the suitcases onto the floor.

It was spacious and few minutes away from the station. Hot spot of restaurants and onsen very close. I was staying saturday/sunday and even it was directly in an amusement area, it was not as loud as described from others. I didnt need earplugs and slept very well.

Spacious room located in a good location, close to 7-11, restaurants, bus stop, and Beppu station. Water shower is very strong, Wifi works great. Overall had a great stay!

Might be loud at night but they provide earplugs, and for me it’s totally fine. I can sleep well every night :)

Liked the self check-in which allowed us entry to the apartment using a code after registering online. It's walking distance to a number of restaurants, can be a little bit noisy at night but we weren't bothered by it (host provided ear plugs but we didn't use them)

There were 2 double beds in the apartment for 3 of us, would have preferred a queen bed. No coffee or tea. Have to pay for parking across the street but that's normal in a lot of cities in Kyushu/Japan.

the room is big and toiletries were provided. the location is excellent.

Easy checkin (could do it in advance via internet), otherwise need to go to a place about 300 meters away, but this way just got a code. Very close to the train station, 5-10 minutes walk. Also close to shopping malls, Don Quijote and various restaurants. Quite spacious, though the toilet space is cramped. Host is very responsive and polite. Terrace with washing machine. Small guide with how to use airconditioning remotes and such.

Curtains are not dark at all, and the area can be very noisy (including on regular weekday nights), just from people on the street. Don't expect to sleep well if you're not a very heavy sleeper. Internet is terrible if you need to do any uploading, because anything that uses somewhat non-trivial upload bandwidth (e.g. videocalls, uploading pictures) will cause the wifi access point to beep and commit harakiri. We're not talking about it being merely slow, it dies and takes you completely offline while it reboots. And then it happens again as soon as you resume whatever you were doing - you can end up with it rebooting every minute, it's unacceptable and incredibly frustrating. Pretty steep and curved staircase, not suitable if you're not strong enough to carry your luggage up. Not everything is cleaned properly, thick layers of dust on top of closet and doors for example. Very nasty, thin and small towels. One of the glasses was completely cracked, but it was still kept there in the kitchen rather than being replaced. Provided slippers of unclear cleanliness, I preferred not to use them. Plastic bags in the garbage bins are of the wrong size (much smaller than the bin), leading to them being suspended rather oddly and requiring good aim to make sure you put the garbage in the plastic bag rather than between bag and bin. The only sink is in the kitchen area, which is weird and somewhat inconvenient. Most doors are rather wonky and will not open/close/lock smoothly. Including the front door to the building and particularly the door to the terrace. Front door has warning not to lock it from the inside - unclear what will happen if another guest locks it and you get stuck outside? Inconvenient placement of charging points and light switches. Water tap in bathroom is inconvenient type as well, should be replaced with a thermostat type.

Spacious and near to the station with business street around. Kitchenware is well equipped. No washing machine but there is a laundry at the corner of the street. Convenient.

Some little noise on the street at the midnight. But it doesn't cause nausiance.
