Very good apartment, super helpful host. Enjoyed our stay.

Spacious for 3 adults. Beds were comfortable. Favorite spot: bistro table set in the large bedroom in front of the french doors. Had morning coffee there every day. Available cookware enabled us to make one or two meals each day. The market is literally around the corner. Plenty of natural light and a view straight down the ally to the water.

Floors were pretty dirty and rather useless cleaning tools available. Had to buy our own toilet paper. To be fair we were there for two weeks and we didn’t ask for more.

Positives - really good location, reasonable price, easy check in process. Apartment was generally clean (apart from what is outlined below). Negatives - The shower head and attached pole are rusted, the grouting in the shower was not clean, the apartment felt a bit shabby. Most significantly, there are no windows other than the small shutter windows on the doors and a small high up window in the second bedroom, so the whole flat felt dingy. This was not apparent from the available photos. Only one toilet roll provided for 4 people for 3 nights, so the first thing we had to do was find a supermarket to buy toilet roll. There was also no wine bottle opener in the kitchen, which is a first when visiting Italy. I also had to buy one of those at the supermarket! The sign on the door had the wrong wifi password and wrong check in time. It was also really cold, even with the air con. We did not want to spend any more time there than absolutely necessary.

Good use of space with everything you need for a comfy stay. Good location easy to explore Ortigia and relatively close to big town parking lot if you have a car.

Missing a couple of things - the iron and a tea towel. The apartment is a bit damp which is starting to affect the fittings particularly in the bathroom. Doesn’t impact you on a short holiday though.

Very nice, well equipped apartement including all kitchen utensils. The only thing was missing - cutting board. And the pleasant bonus was change bed linen and towel in the middle of our one week stay. Communication with the owner was also perfect!

The apartment was very well located on a fairly quiet street on Ortigia. There were several restaurants very close by and the main parts of town were an easy 10 minute walk. The facilities were good and as expected. Communication with the hosting company was very good. A/C was effective in the main bedroom and living room but no A/C in the 2nd bedroom though it was not really needed if the living area was kept cool. Bathroom was good but shower is ready for a replacement soon.

The apartment was perfect for a 3-5 night stay. Some updating will be needed in the near future as shower is aging and the walls were peeling.
