Papaya Guesthouse

The place is a bit tiny but we'll kept and all the facilities and utensils work well. We stayed one tight, it was well worth it. Garry was very responsive to our emails and Jimmy, what a guy!!! Nothing was too much for him. There was a delay with our bags, so arrived late for check in and had no changing clothes. He took us to a nice takeaway place for the evening and for a shopping ride in the morning. Seychelois care at its best. Thank you guys.

Nothing not to like.

Warm and welcoming atmosphere. All the kitchen facilities, fruits and drinking water were offered. Fresh linens and towels. Beautiful garden. Helpful and willing to assist if you ask for help.

The host was very welcoming and offered us a fresh papaya upon arrival. The room was spacious and despite there not being an A/C unit, the fan did a relatively good job. The kitchen was adequately equipped for our needs and there was a water dispenser at hand, which definitely came in handy. The property itself is located basically in the jungle and walking up the hill to it isn’t really an option, especially with luggage, but there’s a bus stop just outside the gate. They also offer transits to and from both the airport and the jetty for those who might prefer it.

When it rains, it’s insanely loud as the water hits the roof, but it didn’t bother us that much. Just something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper.

Very pretty hostel in the mountain. Room are large. And clean. Even got a papaya that’s a so nice experience for me. And have some friendly cats
