I didn't stay, my calls never responded to and ended up being told we are fully booked via a cold email. They didn't care about the cost I incurred to reach out to them and didn't offer alternative accommodation

The breakfast is good.

They really run a currency conversion scam here. There was lots of nuisance with the pricing. They played some tricks on me with the currency conversion. I had lengthy discussions about this with staff and the owner. I explained in various ways how they are clearly cheating and what I should have to pay in Tanzanian shillings. The problem arises from the fact that booking states the prices in usd but the property then wants to get paid in shilling, for which they use an exchange rate that makes it effectively 10% more expensive. This is not the case if you pay thru the app. But paying thru the app isn't always possible. I did not appreciate the hidden costs of their marked up currency conversion. Bank rate was 1$ to 2.2 and 2.45. They used 2.7. Google rate was 2.4. When paying thru booking the Google rate was applied. Hence, expect to pay 10% more if you pay in cash. Funny thing is I overheard another couple having the same issue when it came to payment. The other issue is the noise. You are forced to wake up at 6am because roosters start crying and staff starts cleaning outside the rooms. It also gets very bright because the curtains are thin. Location is not ideal as there is absolutely no place to grab a bite in a radius of 15min walking. The beds are extremely noisy when you have intercourse in them. Wifi was often choppy. I'd recommend to book a different place as there are many to choose from with better ratings :)

Very good breakfast, in lovely surroundings. Served outside on the covered terrace. Comfortable bed, with mosquito net. The accommodation is fairly basic but perfectly acceptable. The shower took a bit of working out, bit leaky, but usable. The staff were brilliant, very attentive. Take advantage of the airport transfer, very convenient. And, if the cloud cover allows, step outside the gate and you get great views of Kilimanjaro...

Cheap and cheerful. We just wanted to break our journey somewhere cheap and clean on our way home to Kenya, and this was ideal for us. WiFi is good, food adequate, quiet location, friendly staff, bedroom and bathroom clean.

Their credit card machine wasn't working when we checked out. Fortunately I had some dollars cash with which to pay.

Except relative small portions of food and noisy fan my one night sleepover was ok.
