Sapa Dao Homestay

Wonderful landscape. The hosts were very kind, helping us to find a motorbike and a taxi. Food was amazing.

We stayed here for 3 nights and felt like home with face full of smiles as well as great hospitality. They stayed up late and allowed us to check in the middle of the night. Also accommodates our custom food requests. It may not be a 5 star hotel but we will remember this stay as a highlight on our Vietnam trip. Highly recommended ❤️

The friendliness and hospitality of Dao and his family blew us away. So kind and wanting to help everywhere they could. They arranged many things like a trekking tour, a sleeper bus, taxi rides and much more. The food tasted great and it was fun to join the family and other travellers for dinner. Thanks again and we will recommend others at home to come here when they visit Sapa!

The fact that the shower has no cabin. Many places in this region have that unfortunately.

I stayed with Mr. Dao for 5 days. Mr. Dao is very hospitable, I felt at home all the days of my stay. Whole family of Mr. Dao is wonderful, I want to come back to them again. The hotel has a restaurant with very tasty food at a good price. The room was clean with tea and coffee. The view from the room was amazing, beautiful mountains and rice fields.

Dao’s Homestay is a simple and beautiful place in the middle of the mountains with an amazing view and the kindest family. Dao unfortunately wasn’t there when we stayed at his homestay but his family greeted us with a constant smile and did their very best to assist us with anything we needed. It was a great experience that I would not hesitate to repeat

The host, dao, was amazing! We ate with the family, he gave us lunch boxes and was very helpful with everything. I player some vietnamese card game with his children, and I'm still not sure how it works exactly

The view of the homestay was of course magnificent, but what I enjoyed the most was the hospitality of my host, Thuy. She spoke great English and was able to help me out with everything I needed. She even gave me extra water and some oranges for my drive the following morning as I left.

My only regret is that I didn't stay longer! The area is out of the hustle and bustle of the city, so it's incredibly peaceful. I would have liked to go trekking in the tea fields had I had more time.
