62N Guesthouse - City Center

A very good budget friendly hotel in Torshavn. Breakfast was excellent. Room was very basic but adequate for a quick overnight stay. Within walking distance of restaurants and old town Torshavn.

Helt greit opphold. Men badet, helt var et stort minus

Let me check in - as scheduled - when there was NO hot water available in the hotel. No mention made at check in. Hot water was out for at least three days (2 of whick affected me). When I asked that my room be cleaned, the morning desk attendant agreed, the afternoon desk attendant told me they didn't clean Guest House rooms. When I pointed out that the printed room instructions said they would clean the room on request, the afternoon attendant came and looked at the room and then promptly cleaned the room. The bathroom floor was extremely slippy when wet, and I slipped. I caught myself falling, scraped my arm (drew some blood), and it was the bloodly towels that I wanted cleaned up. No chance I would ever even consider this place to stay again.

Gammelt og slidt. Ren og nydelig seng. Ok rent men sorte pletter og edderkoppespind i krogene. Maden er ok til prisen. Beliggenheden fantastisk.

Great location. Comfortable beds. Friendly and responsive staff. Great breakfast.
