Villa Slivari

Everything was great. Host very friendly and helpful. House fully equipped, garden and surroundings amazing. I would be happy to come back.

This villa is secluded in the heart of Istria. The only neighbor we heard from was a cow next door. We were able to spend a few days relaxing by the pool, but we also took short day trips to Pula, Rovini, Motovun, and the Skocjan caves. We even saw Plitvice National Park on our way out, which was about 3 hours.

There was a problem with the payment through booking and the property, but the owner ended up finding a way around it and brought us a small gift of local goodies to apologize for the inconvenience. Overall, it was a great stay.

The moment you drive up the gravel road towards the house you cannot miss how beautiful it is. Once inside you have all the comfort a house should have, including three bathrooms + one separate toilet. You can easily house a family of 8. Once outside, the patio, swimming pool and large BBQ provide you with all the necessities to have a relaxing time in the sun. The house is located in a quiet place at approximately 3km of the nearest convenience store. You need a car at this location but due to its central location the whole of Istria is maximum a 50 minute drive away (Rovinj +/- 25min). To top it of I'd like to add that the hosts were the most helpful people we've had on all of trips so far.

There wasn't anything I disliked. No house is perfect but i'd have to start looking at minor details to find things that could have been better, like our bedroom shutter had seen better days, but it still worked nonetheless. If you're a bigger group you need to know the dishwasher is small (40cm version). I didn't find an extension cable to have some electricity outside (but this is very common, that's why I always bring one)
