Really big room. The staff were really flexible with our timing. We had to postpone our stay one night due to health problems and they didn't have any problems with it. The views from it were amazing. Really close to Huascaran National park. We could keep the bikes inside the room. The breakfast was really good!

There were some dogs that slept in the street and they were barking quite a lot during the night, which disrupt our sleep quite a bit. But overall our stay was amazing

Where to start? There was a huge hole in the road in front of the property meaning we had to reroute to get there - it would have been nice to be informed of this. We found the location disorganised and unwelcoming. I ordered a 1/4 Cuy and it was served lukewarm. Once we inspected the room, there was no toilet seat and someone’s hair’s stuck to the shower wall. Wtf? Worst of all, there was a huge dog sat about 5 metres from our door barking his head off all night, literally from 10pm to 2am. I barely got any sleep on this supposedly welcoming and cosy lodge. I tried to contact the property for help via 2 WhatsApp numbers, no response. Pretty infuriating. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place if you value a comfortable night of sleep, you might get lucky and they might have got rid of the dog.

Me and my husband stayed 3 nights at Tullpa Rumy and we loved it. Jesus was such a great host! He helped us arrange taxi to explore Llanganuco and then also laguna 69. We got packed sandwishes for lunch. We had all the meals at the place and the food was amazing!! There was no problems at all for me as a vegeterian. Room was clean and beautiful, hot shower and a heater that warmed us during the nights.

Jesus and his family were very kind. The hut was cosy. The location is amazing for Lagunas Llanganuco and 69, very close to the entrance of the national park. Jesus can arrange transport for you (costs around 130 soles return to the Laguna 69 hike). Cute llama and other animals. We spent five nights there acclimatising and doing the lake hikes, it was a very nice place to relax. Be aware that it's around 40 minutes bumpy road from Yungay and there's no ATM or supermarket so bring food and be ready to pay for the accommodation in cash. Two or three restaurant options nearby but they're not really open in the evenings.

One suggestion for Jesus - cosier lighting in the room! Maybe a warmer colour lightbulb or bedside light.

Good location to start hikes, for exemple to Laguna 69. The owner Jesus can organize taxi to the Laguna, but does not answer messages before your arrival. The dinners were quiet tasty.

The way to arrive here is very bad: not doable after sunset with a drive that does not know the region (which was our case). When we arrived, the owner did not expect us (and he did not answer our messages before our arrival), so our arrival was not welcoming at all. You also have to know that this is not a B&B but a (very) touristic restaurant where many tourists (visiting Laguna 69) have breakfast and lunch. So it is not a quite place at all until sunset. When we didn’t have hot water two days on a row after long hikes, we felt very dirty and decided to leave the property earlier than planned (but don’t expect any discount or apologizes). (Just a detail: we ate here the worst plate of our holiday: Pachamanca: tough (expensive) meat in banana leaves.
