Location and responsiveness

Lack of very basic amenities like shampoo, bathing soap etc. Only hotel I have stayed that didn’t have this in my 30 yrs of travel

I had a lovely stay at the Maltese Sun. My room was super clean and comfortable, with soft bedsheets and a smart TV. The staff at reception and at breakfast were so friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, close to the beach and restaurants, and well-connected to the rest of the island by bus and ferry. I felt very safe both in the guesthouse and the surrounding areas as a solo female traveller.

The towels were a little shabby and sometimes smelt damp/musty. Everything else was perfect so new towels could really elevate the experience!
