"Awkward as an intro to Madagascar. Clean, spacious, comfortable rooms with views and nice cleaning staff."

Room was large, clean, and comfortable, with a stunning view. Cleaning staff were thorough and friendly.

Many older male tourists with beautiful, very young Malagasy women. Reception staff was often indifferent and not welcoming. No soap in room. Strangers knocked loudly at our door on two occasions looking for their room.

your door could be knocked 2 hours before the check out time, while they could not even make your ready at regular check in time. It is 2 pm and I was let in only at 2:10 pm and they knocked my door next morning at 8 am. If you seek comfort better to find another lodge.
