The apartment was very conveniently located a minute's walk from the beach. The air-conditioning worked well, but note that exterior doors MUST be closed for it to work (which makes sense). I also had no trouble with hot water, just ran the tap/shower for a couple of minutes to allow it to come through. Generally well appointed and nicely decorated, the bed was comfortable and all appliances worked well. Daily cleaning was to a good standard.

The kitchen is the only part of the apartment that is a little tired and has a bit of a strange smell - but this is a minor gripe.

The place is amazing. Very clean and the staff are amazing. It’s family owned and operated so you get to meet the whole family while you are there. The mother even baked pastries and gave us some (was delicious). Will definitely come back We

Our room was fantastic, exactly as pictured. Having the kitchen and the spacious terrace gave us the flexibility to eat some meals at “home” when we wanted a break from restaurants. The entire family who run the inn were incredibly friendly. The first evening, we were greeted with a plate of homemade cake, and Marco was very helpful in recommending activities for us. The location simply cannot be beat—steps from a gorgeous beach, and minutes from an array of great restaurants, as well as bakeries, car/motorcycle rental firms, laundry, pharmacy, and grocery store.

The only reason we didn't give a perfect 10 is that there are no screens on the balcony doors. But good luck finding that anywhere in Greece. Can't speak highly enough of the owners and staff. One of the best stays we've had anywhere, and we've seen it all.

I stayed here for 3 nights with my husband. I initially left a review for 7/10 on the day I checked out. However, after receiving a WhatsApp and booking.com message from the owner at midnight the same day accusing me of lies, demanding I remove my review and threatening me with legal action, I temporarily removed my review. I reached out to booking.com to report this and they assured me I had the right to post this review which is based on my own personal opinion of the accommodation (they have documented this and are investigating into the matter). In summary, here are my thoughts on Erato Inn: Positive - good location - Very cheap - Basic and clean - Fresh fruits delivered by a lovely lady in the morning was a nice touch

Some negatives which I apparently “lied” about and was asked to remove or I would be taken to the “Greek courts”: - The cleaner forgot to clean the floor on one occasion - Toilet did not flush properly and was old - I personally think the pictures make the accommodation look quite modern but I felt in real life it looks outdated. However as I said, it’s cheap so can’t complain too much - There are better accommodation options in the area (especially in regards to customer service which we found outstanding in the other 2 places we stayed) but for the price, basic is what you would expect This review is subjective and based on our individual experience which no one can argue with. It is a fair review. Moreover, the owner accused me of “defamation” which by definition this is not. I’m a regular tourist leaving a review. If you don’t want an honest review, don’t ask. I don’t discourage you from visiting Naxos which is a lovely place. Just bear in mind that when leaving negative aspects of your experience, these are the tactics used by business owners to scare you. They just want you to post amazing reviews and can’t handle the heat when they are criticised. I am reasonable and I was happy to alter my review but after several inappropriate and unprofessional messages at midnight, I wasn’t going to let a man bully me into silence and quite frankly, it’s embarrassing. Needless to say I will never ever ever ever ever ever ever return here. Ever. Stelios - Say hi to the “Greek courts” for me.

Location was great being right by two lovely beaches. Also easy assess by bus.Good value for money with all facilities good and the apartment very clean.
