Öijared Resort

We stumbled on this place while looking for a layover between Copenhagen and Oslo. My kids and husband play disc golf, so the course here was a draw, and they had marked running trails for me. The hotel itself was a really wonderful surprise: the rooms were huge for families (separate bunk room for the kids), with the summer light our kids were allowed to play soccer golf well past 10pm, and the food was very good. I wish we had stayed more than one night and I will recommend it to anyone doing a driving holiday through Sweden (especially golfers!) If you don’t want to eat at the hotel it is a bit of a drive to go elsewhere. But the food was great and portions were huge!

Amazing place, the pictures before we arrived did not do justice to what we got when we arrived. Food, atmosphere, large rooms and staff. Only the best recommendations and we will definitely plan when we can come back again.

Beautiful common spaces and surrounding landscape. Great pool views.

The pool was fully booked some days witch was a disappointment for the kids.
