I appreciate the kindness, the cure for details, the beauty of location, with a magic touch done by Elena (who sure is a stylist I understood it by the way she combs her hair). All the rooms are styled with Italian furniture, Faber Kitchens and Nicoletti couchs, all the hotel is sparkling with flowers!

Location is perfect. Very clean and well appointed. The host is welcoming and professional and ensured our stay albeit short has been to our satisfaction. Breakfast in the outdoor restaurant was also very good. Great value for the money! Will visit again next time we’re in Velingrad.

Nothing. One word of advice if this is your first trip to the property - google/waze/apple will route you through ul Kristal /Dimitar Mechev - do not follow as the latter street is in horrendous state - take ul Lenishta (by hotel Sante) and then right on Tsar Samuil - the guest house is the first property on the left after a parking garage building.

- spacious room - friendly staff - good breakfast - not crowded - nice outdoor closed quiet area available next to the room (ground floor) - good location - nice pool and area for sunbathing, drinks available during the day - parking space available

- sauna, hot bath sometimes not working - building sites close to the hotel (but it was not noisy) - last metres road to the hotel is with potholes

The building was obviously new, it was clean, everything we needed was provided to us, which was great. The sheets, the towels and bath robes all were freshly cleaned and seemed relatively new. The water in the pool was warm and very nice. Unfortunately, we happened to catch quite the bad weather, which limited us with walking around the city. That’s why me and my boyfriend made sure to try everything that the hotel provided (sauna, steam bath, massage) and we were definitely left pleased with the quality of service. What we enjoyed the most definitely were the pool and the massage.

Everything was very nice about our stay, except the staff. We stayed for a total of 4 days and 80% of the time the staff wasn’t present at the hotel, neither at the reception, nor at the bar/restaurant. When we came to the hotel there wasn’t anyone at the reception to give us the key to our room and we had to walk around and find someone to show us our room. This is the only thing that left us disappointed with our stay, because we wanted to use the restaurant/bar multiple times, but most times there wasn’t anyone present to ask for something to drink. We skipped breakfast on our second day, because we were not informed at what time the breakfast is served. Later that day, after waiting for 10 minutes in the restaurant, finally someone came and we had the chance to ask. Apparently the staff is working on some kind of maintenance in the kitchen, that’s why they couldn’t offer us dinner as well. On the third day we went to breakfast at 9:20am and after once again having to wait for someone to come, we had to go and find someone to serve us breakfast. Finally, one woman came and took our order, without even trying to ask if we need anything for drinking. They obviously need to learn how to work with clients. I didn’t pay all this money just to be unable to use the restaurant and having to cook at our apartment.

I liked the SPA area a lot! Great staff, great accommodation, very clean, and the restaurant was pretty nice as well.

The infrastructure was pretty bad around the hotel. There is much to be done in order of the view.
