Comfort Inn Edgewater on Hudson River

I stayed at the Comfort Inn Edgewater from June 9–10, 2026. Overall, my stay was pleasant in several respects. The evening front desk staff member was wonderful, and the young lady working during the day on June 10 was also friendly, professional, and helpful.

Unfortunately, my experience after checkout left me very disappointed. After returning home, I realized I had left my Apple laptop charger in Room 123. I called the hotel within a few hours of checking out to report it and inquire whether it had been turned in to Lost & Found. I was told someone would get back to me, but I never received a follow-up. I know with certainty that I left the charger in the room, and it was never returned to me. While I cannot say what happened to it, I am disappointed that it was not recovered or reported to Lost & Found. Considering that Apple chargers are expensive to replace, this was frustrating and costly.

Beautifully located, easy bus commute to NYC. Good breakfast and super friendly staff.

The breakfast area is a bit too small.

The breakfast was only passable. Hash browns hard and dry. Eggs mass produced. Second day no waffles. Good coffee. The night person was exceptional- a treasure! The rooms are well thought out except for the tiny pillows.

The property was very clean. The location was great. The view of the Hudson was excellent and there was a very nice walking trail.

Great location and value for money, awesome views of Manhattan from right on the Hudson and out of the hustle and bustle, bus takes you straight to times square, so no car required. Friendly staff.
