Locatie heel charmant. Leuke sfeer en mooi in het groen. Veel dieren zoals ezels, geiten, varkens en kippen. Dicht bij Pompeï: slechts een half uurtje rijden, en ook in de buurt van de Amalfikust. Prima uitvalsbasis.

Wij hadden verwacht heerlijk te kunnen eten, maar het restaurant was tijdens ons verblijf gesloten. Met onze kinderen viel dit dus enorm tegen. Kamers zijn erg gehorig. Je krijgt alle gesprekken van de buren mee. Personeel doet in september duidelijk niet meer de moeite om een degelijk ontbijt op tafel te zetten. We kregen drinken uit plastic bekertjes. Alles wees erop dat ze het niet nodig hadden om voor een handjevol gasten hun best te doen. Restaurant gesloten? Helaas... Er zijn vast wel restaurants in de buurt open.. erg jammer van een plek waar we ons toch wel op verheugd hadden, met name het eten.

During my visit, I found the experience to be highly satisfactory. After inadvertently passing our intended bus stop, we attempted to secure an Uber; however, none were available in the area. While seeking alternative transportation to the hotel, a local gentleman graciously offered us a ride and declined any compensation for his assistance. His concern for our situation, recognizing we were tourists, was notable. Additionally, several women at the bus stop guided us on navigating the bus system and provided helpful advice regarding the app. The hotel itself was clean and exuded a welcoming, family-oriented environment. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Although it was too cold to use the pool, its appearance—particularly when illuminated at night—was very appealing. The staff's English proficiency was limited, but they demonstrated exceptional willingness to communicate and assist until all our needs were met. Overall, my stay was very pleasant, despite the hotel's distance from central locations. Its proximity—just 12 miles from Castel del Monte—and convenient train access to Sorrento ensured reliable and affordable transportation options. A nearby store provided convenient access to essential items such as water, fresh coffee, espresso, and beer, etc. The attendant was kind and communicated effectively in English. Overall, my experience in this town was highly satisfactory.
