"Narrow alleys, donkeys, carts, cockerels in the distance but cool peace and tranquillity in our Riad"

Nouar, the lady who looks after the house, was wonderful in every respect and produced the most fantastic breakfast every morning as well as providing us with two delicious Moroccan evening meals. She was also responsible for keeping the house clean, making beds and tidying our rooms. It was an authentic Moroccan/Marrakech experience with access to the Souks and nearby restaurants within easy walking distance. The people could nothave

We felt that the condition of the house was slightly tired, with quite a lot of steep steps and it was a bit more cramped than the website photos suggested. However we also felt that it was important to take into account that Morocco is a third world country and while the facilities did not match a typical Spanish town house for example, everything worked, there was plentiful hot water for showers and a large G&T on the upper terrace on the evening a delightful experience to share with ones friends.
