The Poison Ivy could be killed for Better Walking the pet experience.

Short walk to the beach.

Older than expected. Smelled old. Receptacles didn't work. Plants looked bad. Breakfast was a joke. Mold in vents and closet. Parking limited.

Loved the quaintness and the little breakfast and happy hour set up. We enjoyed going around and doing our own thing while also being able to bring our pup along. We came to the beach for our Honeymoon and we loved every minute of it.

Only issue we had was that no one could figure out where to put trash/ if we had a dumpster for the house.

Immediately when we arrived, we attempted to open the sliding glass door as instructed via email. We couldn’t get the door open, there was a younger lady standing in the kitchen who eventually came and opened the door after we gave up. She was very rude and certainly not welcoming, and she was the one there I’m assuming to greet people as she was the one who came every day to put breakfast out, snacks and wine out in the evenings when new guests arrived. The first evening we were there, we realized that the hot water in our shower didn’t work, but the hot water in the tub and sink did. We contacted the owner, Mike, as instructed to do in the letter we received upon arrival if we had any issues as he was staying on the top floor. His response was “did you turn it the other way, sometimes they’re put on backwards”. I told him that yes, of course we checked before contacting him. He never replied after and nobody fixed the shower. The next day while we were using the pool, we utilized the downstairs bathroom rather than continuing to run upstairs to our room, and realized that there was a shower in the bathroom off the kitchen. Although it was semi inconvenient, we decided to take our stuff down and use a shower with hot water. The room was cute, and it was nice that we were so close to beach access and the pier. The beds weren’t extremely comfortable, but I’ve definitely slept on a worse mattress. All in all, the trip was wonderful minus the rude lady and owner, Mike.

Location is wonderful. Love the facility and the ability to bring our dog.

Unfortunately, the bathtub in our room didn't drain and the lights were very dim. There were also a few "critters" under the toaster in the kitchen. We rinsed our feet each time before we came in, but an outdoor shower might have been helpful to get the rest of the sand off.

Loved the fact we were able to bring our dog. We stayed in the Pier View room and it was really nice having the entire middle floor of the porch. The porch was entirely closed in as well so our dog was able to hang out without us worrying about her getting off the porch/patio. Loved the pool, jacuzzi tub in the room, light breakfast items, wine and snacks in the afternoon and the short walk to the pier! We had a great time and will definitely return.

There was no breakfast when we left at 7:20.

There was no lamp or working light in the bedroom. I called the owner and he did not fix it while we were there. The only available light was from an extremely dull and bug filled light that went with the fan. We could not even read the numbers on the remote.
