This place was great!

The first room I was assigned had an overpowering smell of pet urine. When i asked to be moved, the front desk admitted that it was a known problem and that the room needed to be taken out of rotation. The second room smelled musty but at least not like pet urine. The lighting was dim but not enough to disguise the worn and dingy linens. The comforter was discolored and had tons of pulls and loose threads. The pillows were no longer fluffy (just lumpy) and the sheets were limp. The towels were equally worn. For many years, I have stayed at Hamptons across the country for business travel and this is the most rundown one I have ever seen.

Location, breakfast was decent

Pictures showed a hot tub next to the pool. When we got there there was no hot tub. We went to the front desk and were told sorry but there was no manager to talk to until Monday. This was Friday evening and we were checking out on Sunday. The lady at the front desk said well at least you booked a jetted tub room. Which we did but when we turned it on only two of the jets out of 6 worked and the pressure was not even good on the two. We went down once again to the front desk to ask if a maintenance worker could come look at the tub and was told they would send one down on Monday. … again we checked out on Sunday. We were given a card with the managers email. We emailed Dakota. We called Hilton’s complaint line as well. Nothing was taken care of but we were told it would be. We sent a few more emails. Finally Dakota the manager called us on Friday so 6 days after we checked out. He said there was a partial refund already issued and he said he would issue another refund for the rest. However we have not received any refund from anyone yet. The hotel would have been nice if it weren’t for the false advertisement on booking that showed photo 51 with a hot tub and the jetted tub would have worked. I think it is quite ridiculous to have to wait a week after initial email and front desk complaint to hear from a manager.

Nicely kept and staff very friendly

The room had no towels or washcloths. Husband had to go to the desk and ask for them.

Easy check in, breakfast had a great selection with a kid friendly waffle bar, our grandchild love all the toppings, just need scrambled eggs for kids instead of omelet with peppers only. One of the best hotel breakfast The hotel had a strong musty smell and seems like it was being covered with air freshener. Beds were comfy and the place was quiet. We would stay again
