Cottage Grove Inn

I have been traveling for almost two weeks. I have had a lot of complimentary breakfasts. The fact that they had waffles, yogurt, and juice was good.

The eggs and sausage had run out by the time we showed up……..an hour before the end of breakfast. Not too much attention to those kind of details. Selection of tea was dismal. The gravy was too thick.

Great hospitality. Good breakfast.

Room 116 has a urine smell coming from the heater.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Nice morning breakfast and clean comfortable rooms.

A little noisy and dated, but still very comfortable.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean and they offered plenty of amenities.

Bed wasn't comfortable and the noise from the freeway was very loud. Hotel is situated very close to freeway so hard to avoid the noise so not a ding on the hotel, just noteworthy. Breakfast wasn't great, husband had the strawberry waffle which he said was good, I tried the lukewarm biscuits and gravy which was not good. Powdered eggs and they didnt have any sausage when we were down for breakfast at 6:30 am. Breakfast was kept "warm" via crockpots.

Clean, friendly staff, convenient and dog friendly

There was no shower curtain. We left in the early morning so it wasn't that big of a deal, but if we were there longer, we would have asked for one and hopefully we would have been provided one!
