Cottage Grove Inn

Location, just off I 5 and cheaper than Eugene. Breakfast was included. It was quiet, the bed was comfortable. The refrigerator had a freezer compartment.

The place smelled of cigarettes. I expected more for the price.

The staff really made my stay! I wish I caught their names, but there were two ladies working the desks when I checked in and they were so sweet! It was such a relaxed, yet speedy check in. They offered recommendations of things to do and places to eat (and the sushi they recommended was 10/10). Other good qualities: - About 1mile from main street - Free breakfast (with SUCH sweet staff) - I typically have a hard time with hotel pillows and their pillows put me right to sleep

I could hear the stomping footsteps of whoever was in the room above us the entire time. It didn't prevent me from sleeping, but I would've appreciated not having that noise.

There was no shower curtain to the shower, only three tissues in the tissue box and no additional supplies. It was late when we got in so no time to contact the front desk that evening. We mentioned it the next morning. They said they would see about issuing us a credit for the inconvenience, however we did not ever receive a credit. We paid premium for the room at $328 so I credit was warranted, in our opinion. I called a week later to check on the credit and was told we would have it within 5 days; 6 1/2 weeks later and still no credit.

The staff was quick and helpful. The facility was an older but very clean with breakfast included.

The breakfast was good but I wish instead of sausage links that they had bacon available.

Staff was helpful and friendly. The bed and linens were very comfortable. The outdoor pool (90 degrees in October) and Jacuzzi were great.
