Sleep Inn Destin near Miramar Beach

Check in could have went better, between Hotels.com and Expedia not Bn on the same page it cost an additional 50$. And had me late for events my second day Bn the issue was not corrected on the first day !!!

Not as nice as rated

The rooms are clean and get the job done and no bed bugs. The bathroom sliding door can be updated some dont close all the way and you have to pull it out from the bottom to use it. The curtains had a some gunk on them.

This was an alright stay. The service was wonderful. They were very kind and sweet. However, I had several problems. The room was full of mold. There was mold on the curtains and lamp shades. When you walked in the room, all you could smell was musty mold. The linens weren't all clean. The first round of towels we had, had something brown/black on a couple of them. Somewhere between the color of clay and the color of poop. very disappointing. There was red spots on the carpet, like someone dropped on their period. The sink was separating from the wall. The door on the shower was hung on the outside, not the inside so every shower poured so much water into the bathroom floor. Worst of all, I have asthma so I was so excited that the entire facility is smoke free. This ended up not being the case. Every morning until 9:30 and every evening after 6 it smelled like weed. The breakfast was very non-inclusive for some people too. There was no meat/protein offered and 99% of the breakfast offered was gluten based. This isn't a problem for me, but definitely needs to be thought through again.

It’s good value for the money. Not right on the beach, but fairly close to it even by foot. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel is in need of some updates but it didn’t take away from the experience. There is also a basic continental breakfast which is great considering so many budget hotels have stopped offering it at all.

I did not like the hotel. It needs updating and it was supposed to be non smoking you can hardly breathe walking through the halls to get to your room. The bathrooms is as small as a portable bathroom. I will not stay here again.

This property is close to all amenities and is good value for the money. The staff is friendly, very helpful and accommodating.

I spent 6 nights at Sleep Inn in Miramar Beach. It is conveniently located on the south side of Hwy 98 opposite the Silver Sands Outlet Mall. You can walk to a number of restaurants, fast food, a convenience store, a Winn Dixie grocery store, CVS Pharmacy (open 24/7), and not too far to the beach. All I sawat Sleep Inn was well maintained, clean, my room was very comfortable and plenty spacious for one or two people. My room had a King bed. There was also a mini fridge, microwave, desk and chair, an open closet with a drawer. There are plenty of plugs for changing devices. Everything in my room worked fine. I found the staff to be friendly, helpful and efficient. The parking is well lit. There is also an outdoor pool (which I did not use as it is Winter, a cold front dropped the temperatures to the 40s and 50s, and the only people in the Gulf were Canadians or were from Montana.) I did not try their breakfast, though it smelled good. I enjoyed my stay and think you will too.

Very nice

Honestly the only thing that was good was the customer service at check in and check out. The breakfast was limited but did have muffins and yogurt. Apple and orange juice was available as well. The shower was disgusting and had a lot of stains. The sheets and pillows had stains and hairs on them. We slept on our own blanket and pillows. There was also a distinct smell of weed throughout the halls the whole duration of our stay. We will never stay at this property again!
