Sleep Inn Destin near Miramar Beach

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Check in was very easy.

Nice clean hotel room with fair pricing for season at redneck riviera. Hotel is next to US98 but far enough that you do not have any traffic noise in room. The staff is friendly and the hotel seems in good shape.

The front desk staff were very nice. The property and rooms are outdated. The hallway smells. The bathrooms are small. The shower is a pod and unsafe. Its built like an egg so its very slippery with the oval design at the botton. The shower door opens right into the bathroom door so you have to squeeze between the two. The bathroom is like a closet. The bed was on top the ac because the rooms are so crammed. The location was decent to go to the beach and stores, but for the price of this hotel, it should be updated and remodeled. The plugs were very wobbly and unstable. Everything we plugged into the wall fell out. When we used the lamp plugs, the lamp lights flickered the whole time. We were scared a fire might start so we only used them for a short time to charge our phones. Bring extra towels because you only get the ones in the rooms and cant get extras unless you bring them a towel to trade for a towel. We bought some so we could each dry our hair with one and dry off with one the other. The beds were hard and not comfortable but you do get 4 pillows a bed that were soft for your head. It was decent for this trip but wont stay here again for this price.

For the price we paid, it was not great. We had no hot water and the floors and bathroom were dated and dirty.

This was place was not just outdated, but looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. There was dust everywhere, mold in the bathroom, grim on all the outlets and remote, broken remote duck taped together, dirty rags on our appliances, floor boards falling off, and the sheets were ripped (with the filling coming out!) and filthy. After notifying the front desk, they stated they couldn’t give us a discounted rate due to using Expedia but would have someone clean the room the next morning. The next day, a man from housekeeping comes in and rolls his eyes when we explain everything to him and “cleans” the shower that was so gross we didn’t feel comfortable using. We barely slept the entire time because it felt disgusting. Will be notifying Expedia. We couldn’t even change properties in the city since everything was booked for the weekend so our only option was stranded or filth.
