Comfort Suites Columbus State University Area

Handicap room that I reserved was not the one that was assigned to me. I asked for a accessible shower only room that is not what I received. I took the one they assigned but I wasn’t happy. Room 103 has a tub which is difficult for me to get in and out of, it did have a seat that you can access ( not any more). I managed to get in the shower and to my surprise I used the fold down seat ( which by the I could not access turning the water on or off from that seat). But the ultimate happened , yes the seat gave in , pulled out of the wall. It took all I could to gather by bearings to get up off the seat and to my feet. I question who designed the bathroom took everyone into consideration. I travel alone a lot. So there is only me to take care of me.

It seemed close to our other destinations. Centrally located.

Washer and dryer were broke. The dining area could’ve housed penguins. Sticky mystery purple stain on floor and smelled like smoke. Shower was strong still smelled like smoke. Management staff was very rude and unhelpful. Oblivious to simple hotel questions.

Walk in the room and looking on the walls and windows and they had bugs on them and the bed had a big yellow sank on the sheets

2nd time staying there, both times the pull out couches was never moved . It had garbage along the wall, the 2nd time staying there , there was bbq sauce cup (opened) under the desk table . My daughter was laying on the couch and on her arm she felt something crawling, she jumped up and came to me it was a bed bug . The next day the sheet came off on one corner off one of the two beds that was in the room. There was a big one sitting on the corner of the bed under a fold.
