Clear View Inn Independence

Personal business had to be finished before attending to customer, room had only two towels, bed was noisy, outlets for phone charger did not work had to use wall outlet, breakfast was cereal only, very disappointed worse hotel/motel on my vacation.

People were hanging out like it was a block party, or it was a normal gathering

There wasnt a stay...somehow rooms were being double booked without any rooms available

This hotel did not allow us to check in even though we had a confirmation from Travelocity—they said were overbooked.

This was ABSOLUTELY the most disgusting, ghetto, loud and terrifying MOtel we’ve ever stayed in. Would never recommend 0/10. Staff was lovely though lol Also pictures on website are false af🙃

The fire alarm was chirping and disconnected. The sheets were dirty, and the replacement sheets were as well. The third set was clean finally. The TV didn't work as expected. The tile floors were dirty and there was a big dirty splotch on the wall. About 4 hours after checkin, the room was ready.

When I arrived, the lady gave me a room and when I went into the room, there were already other people in there. The area was nasty and I just had a bad experience trying to get into my room and other people already in there and do not recommend this place the pool is not open And I would not recommend anybody to stay there.

More like a crack house than a hotel, people moving around all night long. I was wakened several times and ended up leaving around 4:45am instead of 9am

Place is being remodeled. Breakfast was supposed to go till 9. By 8 it was crumbs or cereal. Coffee was rarely full. If you are low on funds & need a place to stay, this is your place. This is not a vacation destination. Homeless folks pan handle at the traffic corners. They get some cash & get a room here. Many are mentally ill when they speak to you, but they still hang out around the hotel.

I had two rooms for two nights. First night there were dead cockroaches throughout the rooms and the floors had not been swept or cleaned. Rooms conditions were poor. In one room the comforter was pulled tight, but the sheets had not been changed. There were pubic hairs on the sheets from the previous guest. The other room smelled so badly of smoke that it triggered my asthma. There were also cigarette burn holes in the comforter. (This is a non-smoking hotel) The next night our rooms had not been serviced when we returned and we had no clean towels, garbage still in the cans and the beds not made, etc... The morning we checked out the housekeeper admitted that she doesn't go into rooms, if nobody is there so she doesn't get accused of stealing something. Management was very nice and apologetic and corrected things as best they could. But after this, I will never stay in a Clarion Pointe Hotel again.
