Spark by Hilton Salem East Electric Road

Staff was very helpful and made check-in and out very quick. Breakfast was very good. The room was clean and comfortable. Had a great overnight stay. Would stay again at this location.

The sink had valves that were almost turned off so almost no water. The cable in our room got 5 channels. When i asked about the other 35 channels we were supposed to get i was told some rooms are finicky. Not a solution. Mattress was worn out.

Super comfy beds and pillows, friendly staff. The breakfast was great! Waffle maker, mini cheese omelettes, sausage, danish, cereal, etc…

Good location for what we needed. Good sized rooms and they were clean. Madison on the night shift was great and incredibly friendly and helpful!

The staffing in the morning was incredibly rude! We got charged for a smoking fee without any notice or call, when we called about it Hillary at the front desk never even asked our room number, stated someone complained that smoke was coming from the vent in our room. When asking if we can talk to a manager she said we can come back on Monday, which was impossible as we left on Sunday. I then asked what else can be done about this or if the manager could call and she got vey rude and said I just told you to come back on Monday. Property is definitely out of date and needs upgrades, pillows were very small and need to be upgraded.

Ice machine did not work. Room was not updated or clean. Limited choices for breakfast.

Our overnight stay was fine. Our only issue was the smoke detector light flashed all night every 5 seconds. No one was at the desk in the morning when we checked out, so we didn't report it. We have stayed here many times. The room is large and the staff friendly.
