Drury Inn & Suites Houston Galleria

The free dinner and breakfast is amazing !!! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable.

Parkplatz, Fitnessstudio, Jacuzzi, gratis Alkohol, gratis Getränke (grosse Auswahl), Abendessen war inbegriffen obwohl nicht gebucht hatten :)

Ungenügende Lüftung im Zimmer, sehr laute Klimaanlage, fehlende Dusche im Poolbereich

We woke up one day to find that our apartment had no water. While the issue was being repaired, we checked into a nearby Drury Inn so I wouldn’t have to worry about meals. Drury’s dinner and breakfast, though not fancy, are the number one reason I choose to stay there. I had never stayed at this particular location before, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The manager was smart, hardworking, polite, and efficient. I was so impressed that I assumed he must own the hotel. Later, a quick Google search reminded me that Drury Inns are corporately owned, so I suppose he simply takes exceptional pride in his job.

The staff was amazing, very friendly, very professional, the room was clean, the hotel itself was clean. It does need some love and a little updating, especially the bathrooms. The shower was awful, no matter what temperature we tried it would swing from freezing to scalding over and over. By the end of our trip we learned the cycles and could anticipate the temps and try not to get burned or have ice cold water on us and just step out of the spray for a bit. It made it difficult and not the best start of the day. We both tried morning, afternoon and late night showers and the issue stayed no matter when we attempted.
