Thon Hotel Hallingdal

It was easy, friendly, and we did not expect so big room for the money we paid. There was plenty of space for our little ones to play around the room. And breakfast was also great surprise, we enjoyed it a lot!

We choose this hotel because of charging point for our rental electric car but there was only one charger and it was occupied all the time!

Zeer goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het hotel oogt verouderd maar is netjes en schoon. Het ontbijt was goed verzorgd! We hadden een kamer met een aparte slaapkamer met stapelbed voor de kinderen. De bedden waren prima. Voor ons was het een tussenstop en hebben daardoor geen uitstapjes gemaakt in de omgeving. We hebben lekker gegeten bij Ål pizza in het dorp op 5 min lopen van het hotel.

Het hotel en de inrichting is gedateerd maar zoals eerder geschreven alles zeer netjes en schoon!

It was self check in . We had a large room with chairs and a little table . The bunk beds were in a small adjoining room . The bed was very comfortable with a thick duvet . The bathroom had underfloor heating . There is a supply of extra towels outside the lift .. Tea and coffee machine were in the lounge at the entrance . I asked for milk and was given a carton, which I put in the fridge in our room . No central light and plug in lights didn’t seem to work , but there were bedside lights. Unfortunately we couldn’t have dinner in the hotel , as it didn’t cater for vegetarians. Breakfast was varied with fresh both hot and cold dishes . There were gluten free options . We enjoyed our stay and were able to use the lounge aftrr check out .
