Breakfast fake eggs. No meat choice Room layout was to awkward One king bed headboard then added to queens without adjustment. Crowded layout.

Room 513 faces the interstate and the noise from the interstate kept me awake all night. The sealed room window had little effect on reducing the vehicle noise. If you stay here request a room not facing the interstate. I have stayed in scores of Springhill Suites and this is the worst stay ever due to this building flaw.

This is the third time I've stayed at this hotel since 2023. The first two times were flawless. This time was awful. I arrived at around 930pm and upon checking in my first room smelled of Marijuana so badly that there was a haze of smoke in the room. I walked out to the counter and asked for another room. The employee at the counter told me that people smoke out back and it gets sucked into the HVAC there and that they'd happily move my room. The second room I had looked and smelled better on first glance. I showered and started to hang up clothes in the closet when I realized that this room was beginning to get the same smell. Also, the closet was just awful with marijuana smoke smell, as if someone smoked in the closet. I called the front desk and asked a few questions. The person working the counter said, "They should have moved you to the other side if you had this problem once, the entire south side can have this problem." I was moved to my third room around midnight and the room was fine. About 5pm the next day I returned back to the hotel and the parking lot had several individuals loitering and wouldn't you know it, they were smoking marijuana in the parking lot. (I smelled it coming through my vents in my car before I saw them.) Outside, in the parking lot, no big deal, right? The entire first floor hallway leading to my room was also smoke filled with more of the same. Mind you, I was in town for business at a job that is 100%, no excuses drug free, and at this point some of my clothes and luggage were starting to acquire a second hand smell. So, showing up to a meeting smelling like second-hand marijuana isn't acceptable....I could have been asked to leave or worse. I found another hotel, booked it, and asked to be checked out of the North/Forest Park location. The clerk helping me was super apologetic, again admitting this location has a significant drug problem (this person's words, not mine) and promised a manager's callback to help me work out my bill for the abbreviated stay. This happened on Friday. No callback. I called on Saturday and was told no manager was available and that they'd call me Sunday. No call back. I recieved no call on Monday, so, today, Tuesday I called and was told that no manager was available until Wednesday. Save yourself the aggravation and stay somewhere else. The Marriott property I found 10 minutes away had none of the issues and my remaining two days in Cincy were far better.

Convenient to the friends we were visiting in Cincinnati. Big rooms, very comfy beds and pillows! Great breakfast. Value for money.
