Location and site was lovely, we stayed in the gate house but there is a brilliant park further into the estate near the lodges. Next to the park are lovely picnic benches with fantastic views of the surrounding area and the estate, on a nice day you could easily spend several hours there. The house we stayed in was a lot bigger than we expected and was situated next to a river and was ideal for sitting outside to have lunch. There is a fairly busy road next to this house but the property has triple glazing and the traffic noise didn’t bother us at all.

The only negative was the water pressure of the shower which would ideally be better but this was a really minor thing overall.

A fabulous lodge with excellent resources. Extra comfy beds - very clean and all directions very clear. Extremely quiet and peaceful location but close to Callender and local pubs

The property was in a lovely location and handy for local amenities! Very quiet and lovely to sit outside and listen to the bagpipes on a morning! The only down side was the drive down to the property and the potholes if they were filled in it would have been a much easier drive in and out.

Location was super. Liked the BBQ and lay out of the lodge. Well equipped. Very comfortable.

The toilet door handle mechanism was broken - once shut door was stuck. No batteries in remote for DVD player. Cafetiere was a 2 cup - 4 coffees took a while to brew! Lovely non-stick frying pan but no fish slice.
