Casa Sofia Boutique Hotel

It was amazing! Sea view, very cozy hotel , very helpful and pleasant owner , who cares about all details. One of the best of hotel I have ever been !

From the moment we walked in, we felt at home. Cristian was there to greet us and while the room wasn't ready - he explained everything about the property, breakfast, our room, where to eat, how to get around and was very very friendly. The pensione itself is adorable with the BEST views of Sant'Angelo from above. You have your own table for breakfast that is on a terrace and the common area is beautiful and open and airy. Breakfast is served every morning with many options. The views from the rooms were worth the price we paid and beyond. It is one of the higher located properties but we really enjoyed the walk everyday. There are also small golf carts available to take your around.

This property is located in Sant’Angelo which is not that busy during the holiday season yet extremely beautiful. We booked the triple room with the balcony. The sea view from the balcony is amazing. The night sky is also magnificent. Christian is a wonderful owner who is always willing to help. He booked the nice local restaurants and also arranged electric cars and taxi for us. Thank you! From the Ischia ferry port to the property, you could choose bus or taxi. The taxi is about 45Euro, Christian helped us to book the taxi in advance. But the taxi won’t be able to reach the property. You will need the electric car to carry you up to the hill to reach the property, because the roads are really narrow and steep. You won’t want to walk to the property with the luggage. It cost around 5 Euro per person. But it’s definitely worth it! Because not so many tourist stay there during the night, it was very quite with the beautiful night sky and the sea view and you can hear the sound of the waves and enjoy the sea breeze in your own balcony!

Our stay at Casa Sofia was truly a highlight of our trip! Wonderful getaway gem in St. Angelo! Casa Sofia is a small and charming hotel that offers the highest quality services, is impeccably clean and its views are simply astonishing. Casa Sofia offers a superb view from balcony and terrace where breakfast is served. The host Christian was very caring, kind and he has been a key contributor to our lovely experience! He is always there to assist you with anything you might need. Thank you Christian for everything and we hope to see you again soon!

Casa Sofia is such a gem, a true home from home. The atmosphere is quiet, friendly and relaxed, and Christian is the perfect host! So helpful and professional, with anything from organising airport transfer - or in our case Napoli hotel pickup - to restaurant recommendations. The location, that view (!), the breakfast, “minibar” arrangements, the room, such a comfy bed, how clean everything is, the space itself and homy feel - we loved it all, and will definitely come back!

It was really hot during our stay, and when nature doesn’t offer enough breeze, the only small room for improvement would have been a fan in the breakfast / reception area, to be able to enjoy the facilities even more. It’s such a lovely place you want to relax in or meet other travellers, but it was just too hot and humid (maybe unusually so when we were there). Obviously not everyone would agree here, and fans (as opposed to aircons) didn’t seem like a common thing in Ischia. Just a small remark, and it definitely won’t stop us from coming back to Casa Sofia!
