Quality Inn & Suites Mount Vernon

Place was clean enough but the breakfast was definitely not appetizing juices were watered down and eggs had no flavor waffle maker out of service Choices were slim Definitely not Quality

The host, I think her name was Ashley, was great. I accidentally booked the room in Mt Vernon, Mo and it was actually Mt Vernon, IL that I should have booked. She helped me rectify the mistake.

Located right off freeway and close to TA gas/convenient store. List of local restaurants was helpful as well. Staff at front desk was wonderful. The size of room was larger than expected and had a perfect mini fridge freezer.

Putting a single female in the first floor and near an exit is not ideal/safe. It's not like the hotel was packed or anything. Constantly hit on by a group of contractors staying there for the nightl was uncomfortable when exiting/entering on far end of building.

The wall by the sink had what looked like blood spatter on it. Smoke detector was missing, with just wires sticking out of the wall. No elevator.

Everything was great, except the smoke smell was really really strong in the hallway and you could smell it from your room

Front Desk staff awesome and the breakfast is very good.

Old. Needs a deep clean. Carpets are gross. room Smells bad . Front desk was making calls to our room after midnight while we were trying to sleep because she messed up something with the credit card . Rude staff and overpriced rooms. Don’t waste your money here.
