Noise. Shower no good and dangerous

Zuerst wurden wir in ein sehr kleines Zimmer mit einem kleinen Bett (140cm) gesteckt-ähnlich einer Besenkammer und schlechtem Geruch. Erst auf wiederholten Nachdruck wurde uns ein anderes/grösseres Zimmer zum gleichen Preis angeboten. Personal war nicht sehr hilfsbereit, Wasser für's Zimmer musste an der Bar geholt werden. Abflusspropfen ist steckengeblieben.

Le Phenix hotel is beautiful, really lovely spaces, great room and comfy beds and linen. Great location on the river, super close to the best parts of the old town area. Lots of bars and restaurants close by, and the metro is walking distance. I would highly recommend staying here, it was perfect!

It was very clean and comfortable and the he staff was exceptional.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The hotel is well located, in a prime area of the city, and we had a nice room overlooking the river which was quite enjoyable. We took the breakfast option with the room and that also was good. We had our coffee and pastries sitting next to the big glass window in the restaurant area, where you can see what's happening in the street. The reception staff was helpful and very pleasant. There is free water available, but it only comes in a glass bottle which needs to be collected from the reception - as a reflection of the hotel's sustainability and environment friendly policy.

The room was rather big but looked bare, with few amenities (no toiletry kits aside from the soaps in refillable bottles, no small towels, no coffee machine, no ironing board). The TV was not smart and for English speakers there were only a couple of English channels. No room service. The bathroom was strangely designed with water splattering off the tub when taking a shower, and very low water pressure. The shower head looked tired and definitely needed a replacement. The tub featured a built-in jacuzzi (not sure why).
