Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Yreka

No bed bugs, bed was descent.

Outdated, hard water stains on shower doors, smoker smelled room, noisy ac. Value didn’t match the worth, but less expensive than other hotels. Felt uneasy.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Kindly put me in a very quiet room. Very kind and cooperative. Clean enough room for the cost.

The air conditioning really didn't work well and it was hot all night. The pillows were terrible and need replacing. Coffee in the morning could use an upgrade.

$100 doesn’t go far anymore, unfortunately. My room was slightly better than my brother’s - his shower was so dirty he didn’t want to use it. My shower was not really clean, but clean enough. The bedroom floor was not clean, either. The bed was comfortable.

Location to Hwy 5

Front desk placed all 5 separate guest parties clustered together in a 40 plus room motel which resulted in excess noise & disturbance to just after midnight, far past 10pm quiet time. Also did not honor the booking dot com rate explaining that their surcharge was a cost I had to pay.

For what it is, the Econolodge was great. Yes, it’s an older property, yes the room could use some updating, but it was clean and very affordable and the bed and bedding was very comfortable for a one-night, I’ve been driving too long, place to rest. And the staff was friendly and accommodating. Recommend!

1. AC quit in the middle of the night; tried unsuccessfully to restart; spontaneously restarted at 8:30AM. 2. Security lock on door did not work. 3. No soap in bathroom. 4. No extra electrical outlets for charging. 5. Management sent a generalized “regret” email after I completed Choice Corp. survey with above points. Draw your own conclusions.
