Americas Best Value Inn Marquette

The room was clean, renovations were excellent. A suggestion would be that because there wasn't a fitness center on the premises, that there could be a pass for Anytime Fitness across the street? Just a suggestion. Good choice.

This is our third time being at this hotel and the staff is always friendly and it is close to downtown but you don't have all the noise and activity of college. We were there on graduation weekend so we were expecting to more inconvenienced.

The employees are complete drug addicts when we tried to call and turn the employee in she hung up on us and come to find out blocked my number my husband tried calling and his number was also blocked after we were walking our dog and witnessed a young lady smoking some kind of pipe with the window open

It is very loud outside my room right now. I am maybe going to ask to move because being right by the entrance is loud

I recently stayed at Americas Best Value Inn in Marquette, booked through Hotels.com, and was disappointed by both the service and the overall experience. Although the hotel advertises itself as pet-friendly, the policy in practice is rigid and unaccommodating, with restrictions only disclosed at check-in. By the time I became aware of these conditions, it was too late to cancel or receive a refund, as the staff shifted responsibility to the third-party booking platform. With no flexibility offered, I was left with no choice but to leave my two dogs in the car during a night event at NMU—an option I now realize may have posed safety or legal concerns given the cold weather. The room also had basic issues, including a broken door lock and no heat upon arrival. If the hotel is unable to genuinely support guests traveling with pets, it would be more appropriate to remove the pet-friendly designation altogether. I encourage management to reassess both their policies and facility readiness to provide a more transparent and guest-oriented experience.

The bathroom was extremely small. There was a huge gap at the bottom of the entry door. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable.
