The roaches , the way the pictures do NOT match the ones they show , how we asked for a king room and got stuck with two twin beds

This booking i was informed by the person working he would cancel and rebook my reservation , he did not, the staff has absolutely zero people skills, hospitality isn't their business, price of $89 night over priced. Our vehicle broke down leaving us with no option, they refused a late-night night check in, charged a seperate charge of $30 early 10am check in, didnt inform us that they were working on some of tge property, 7 am onward woke with loud i mean loud banging, non stop. Complained next day asked for a discount $75 was agreed, that night after 1am my card was hit 4x's, one was immediately reimbursed the other 3 denied, they saw the charge then they didnt, they look into it , said no refund its not on there end cant see it I showed my bank account and they insulted our intelligence stating our bank must have done those not them, the next night same thing 2 extra charges, then they actually tried an illegal Tow of our vehicle that they aloud my husband to fix , 2 renters that had ties with the maids informed us they are trying to tow us to get rid of us so they dont have to face the fraud charges done , $300 total. It would have landed them into big trouble i spoke with Denron police which informed me they would be held accountable there is no towing signs, no rules or informing of violations that could cause a tow. They saw out of staters and thought we wouldnt view our bank account before leaving and hit it to the point our bank saw the transactions and suspicion lead to reversing some transactions, two more are waiting. I would recommend not using a debit or credit card with these people even after departing check your account cause after 1 am they will hit it better yet DONT STAY HERE, Also there is a bad skunk like smell of weed. Your the paying customer but treated like your not welcomed and then they attempt an illegal Tow to try get rid of you rather than face the charges they stole. This is credit card theft, abuse, fraud.

Place is extra run down pictures look nothing like the property, the place was infested with small roaches, and the smell was faul, We planed a quick Saturday trip to Halloween town in Denton a 5 hours drive to get there, and we we're going to drive back home the same day however we were to tired. So we booked this place.... with that being said I was so disgusted with the place I ended up toughing it out and driving back home that night because I couldn't stay there.

Nothing

It was loud. I did not feel safe, the room was dirty and the room smelled really bad. Bathroom was dirty, their were bugs and the floor was sticky. The stairwell smelled like gasoline and pee. It was just horrible. It was so bad that I did not end up staying the night. I left about 30 min after I checked in and had to pay a high price for a last min booking at another hotel. This place should not even be in business.

if i need to stay in denton again, I'd stay here again.

The room was fully remodeled so that was nice. The only issue was the roaches that came out of the walls. Dropped a piece of food on the floor went to get paper towels to clean up and there was 3 tiny roaches on it. Various sizes of roaches. And a dripping water noise all night (couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. Sounding like the kitchen sink or refrigerator area) The rooms were remodeled so that was a plus but the amount of paint on the walls and doors caused issues with the doors closing properly.
