Studio 6-Denton, TX - UNT

This was an unexpected stop as we thought that we would be able to make better time then we did. We needed a room with easy access and at first there was not one available. While checking in Sai looked through the computer and found us one. Many, many thanks, Sai! Otherwise we had no problems or trouble and the hotel was pretty well booked full. When traveling across country with a dog, finding a reasonably price hotel can be a challenge!

I saw roaches so I asked them to move me to another room. Still saw roaches.

The AC worked well

No coffee pot, broken sink facet, sink didn't drain. Floor was dirty, flies, smelled. No shampoo, 2 towels only.

The young man at the front desk was very polite and helpful to the best of his abilities. My kids enjoyed the pool!!

The rooms were, absolutely disgustingly infested with roaches. I had to go to the store and purchase many cans, gels, and roach bait to put out, to help keep the infestation down. I had to douse the bedframes in roach spray and move them to the center of the room to keep all the roaches from getting on the beds. Needless to say, I didn't sleep much and we had to wear shoes at all times to avoid stepping on the roaches that were everywhere on the floor. The only reason we stayed was due to financial issues at the time. I notified the front desk of the roach infestation, and they acted as though they knew nothing about it. (Even though they have many reviews about the roaches) They told me they couldn't do anything until the morning after we had arrived. They would send maintenance to spray or do something about it. Nobody ever came or spoke to us again about it. ( I had hoped the other reviews I had read, were just from some bougie people who had never been around bugs.🤞 Boy was I wrong!!!! After housekeeping had come in to clean the room, my 8-year-old daughter noticed that there was gum stuck to all the sheets and blankets they had put back on our bed. We do not chew gum! The TV appeared to have been dropped. It leaned to the side, and the screen was messed up almost like double vision.

I reserved a room with 2 beds and they gave me a room with 1 bed. Said they were full. Disappointed when I reserved ahead of time. Very clean rooms though!!!!

Train noise was horrible all night long.

Check in was easy, clean property, pillows were not the best but fine for a short stay, walkable to whataburger which is great for late night/early breakfast/dinner.
