Hotel Lotus Kansas City Stadium

We were hoping to swim, but when our family went out, we were informed that it was closed. There were not any signs alerting us to this fact, nor were we told when we checked in.

Very tidy, every area of the hotel smelled cleaned, house keeper was polite and our room was cleaned every day.

Great check in with Lucky. Very friendly, speedy service. Room was clean, great bathroom, closet space. Coffee maker, microwave, came in handy. Bed was comfortable, 4 pillows, clean sheets. Definitely will stay here again.

The room was decent and the beds were okay, But I was not happy to get charged $10 for a pot pie in the lobby that was stuck to another one. when I asked the front desk clerk to separate them because they were stuck together And I didn't want to ruin one He offered to give me both for 15. I didn't even want 1 for 10 but my daughter was hungry And I wasn't leaving again, and then the pot Pie was freezer burnt and disgusting. I don't think it's very fair to charge people $10 for a $2 pot pie just because you're in a hotel. And then try to get them to buy two, because they're stuck together. He even said, well, I can't sell the second one If we separate them, and i'm thinking, well, you covered your cost for ten dollars on one. Be good people and don't take advantage of guests by increasing the prices extremely and then trying to get me to buy more when you knew it was old and gross. Also in the morning, when I left, we grabbed a cup of coffee from the breakfast and it was disgusting. So we tried the other container of coffee that they had available for breakfast. And it was also terrible. It tasted like dirty socks and smelled like mold. upon checkout, I did ask the clerk to consider deep cleaning the coffee pots because maybe they didn't know the coffee was tasting like that and her Response was, yes, I will make another pot of coffee. That definitely was not the solution. I hope this review encourages a few changes.

Close to KC Royals Stadium. Our flight was very early in the morning so we did not have breakfast.

Having a box fan in the closet was excellent. More hotels should do this.

Like the location for KC games, but if you hike the prices for game times, you need to make sure you have breakfast covered.. no milk, chocolate milk and slow on filling does not equate to raised prices.. might need to pay an extra person to take care of filled hotel.
