Masseria Grofoleo

There is no better place than Masseria Grofoleo and no more gracious host than Emanuel, who, along with his loyal companion, Evanno, will go to great lengths to provide the best possible stay. Our accommodation was comfortable (and incredibly fragrant) and had a balcony with a beautiful view of the city of Locorotondo, just a few minutes’ walk from the Masseria (also, Alberobello and Monopoli are two other beautiful cities nearby). Breakfast, served in a glass-enclosed veranda, lets you start your day surrounded by nature and the stunning landscapes of the Valle d’Itria. By the way, Emanuel’s mother’s homemade jams are fantastic. Everything was simply perfect. For two days, it was our little piece of paradise (crowned with a special dinner that Emanuel and Evanno prepared for us on the last day). We will return, and it won’t take long. Thank you to everyone at Masseria Grofoleo for the warm hospitality and kindness.

Masseria Grofoleo is in a stunning location and immaculately maintained. The grounds are beautiful and feel very private. Emanuel and his team are so welcoming and attentive. The breakfast was delicious and generous. Nothing was to much trouble, we felt very relaxed during our stay.

This property is the best I’ve stayed at in Italy. The staff and so kind and attentive. The grounds and the views are perfect It’s like imagine you booked your honeymoon and you wanted everything to be dreamy… that is what you get. We left today to move somewhere else and I’m just not into it at all I miss this place so much. It’s a piece of heaven
