Simple, clean motel just on the edge of town with a beautiful view of the rock.

Got my mom the room to surprise her,on her 75th birthday they gave her a different room that was downstairs,I payed for the upstairs balcony a view im very upset.

The location was good.

There was no elevator. The smell of bleach on the sheets was very strong. The mattress had some kind of cover that anytime you moved it sounded like a crackle that it kept waking me up. The bathroom desperately needs caulking all around the tub and in front of the bub as it’s moldy. Lastly because it was graduation weekend for 2 nights we had to pay over $500 for a two star hotel. I was surprised at the cost.

Great location. Parking was easy. Cutesy theming. Bed was a medium level of comfortable.

Bizarre interaction with the front desk attendant. He was not friendly and that's fine, but got weirdly confrontational about the strangest thing. He gave me a tiny sheet of paper the exact size of a fortune cookie's paper with the wifi password on it along with my key. Then I went to go unload my car and get in the room and lost the tiny sheet of paper. I was here for work and needed the wifi. I went back in and asked for another paper with the wifi password on it because I lost the tiny piece of paper while shuffling luggage, tired after a 7 hour drive. He didn't want to give me another tiny piece of paper. He kept saying I already gave you one and I said, yes I know but it was a tiny paper that fell and I already looked around my car and the parking lot and could not find it so please may I just have another... He was angry and annoyed with me over this tiny piece of paper. Arguing with me in circles, I had to ask 3+ times before he eventually would give me one, even telling him I can just take a photo of the password if that would help him save his stack of password papers. Look- I know this is not going to be a great luxury stay and I understand being annoyed at your customers at the end of a long day- but this stinginess battle over a tiny piece of paper half the size of my pinky was an absurd waste of both our time and left such a bad taste in my mouth I won't be back here. There are plenty of other cheap motels in town that I hope will keep their hostility to themselves. Pillows & thin blankets were not great. Room hasn't been updated in 3 decades with plenty of rust. Fine for a quick overnight while keeping your expectations low. Bring earplugs if you're sound sensitive, you hear everything all around you.
