Sonesta ES Suites Reno

We chose this hotel based on location. It was very close to hospital where my husband was having surgery. Having the kitchen was great. Room was large. Bed comfortable.

I asked for one favor-to be located away from freeway adjacent to hotel. Desk clerk assigned us to a room facing closest to the freeway. Since it was a one night stay, we decided not to make a fuss. Room was clean but we found someone else’s pants in one of the drawers, there were no bath towels and there was an empty plastic water bottle under the sofa. Clearly, housekeeper was distracted. Grounds of hotel are very neglected. Swimming pool looks permanently, not temporarily closed. Grass in gathering quad area is dead. We did not try breakfast as we had to leave before 6am.

The room was great , everything was super clean and quiet

PLEASE…..PLEASE…..PLEASE spend your hard earned money elsewhere. The worst managed and maintained hotel that we’ve ever stayed at. Michael Harris and the folks at Ledgestone Hospitality should be utterly ashamed to put their name as managing this property. I will never stay at a Sonesta again as long as I live, based on this experience alone. If you are going to advertise a certain product, then you should at least be honest on what you are offering. The grounds are dead and unsafe. I don’t even know what to say, but there have been numerous negative reviews about this place for years. So please review them and use your better judgment and book elsewhere.

Excellent place to stay with lots to do from volleyball to sitting by a fire pit. Pet friendly with lots of places to walk you dog, picnic tables, bbq. The room was very nice with a kitchen, a comfy couch, and the bed was just right. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to Reno.

Absolutely nothing

The location is nice right off of Hwy 395 and plenty of businesses and places to eat in the area. The room was large, 2 king bedrooms and two bathroom, a dinning area and a full kitchen, with a refrigerator that made plenty of ice.

The property appears to be heading down hill. The hall ways were pretty dirty and all the carpet (both in the hallways and our room was in need of replacing. Also….there was no hair dryer in the room.
