"Okay - average for that area I guess"

Hotel was okay. The lobby looked terrible, but the room was decent. The breakfast was very small, probably because the lobby is so small.

"Great service, concerns about condition and rates"

The manager was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean. TV was a little wonky (picture was too big for the screen; it probably needed to be calibrated) and there was a large hole in the drywall. The room was really warm when I arrived and the air conditioner took forever to get the temperature down. I did appreciate how private the balcony was and how quiet the area was. All in all, the rates here are too high for the condition of the hotel. $75 (that's with a discount) doesn't seem appropriate for a room that isn't half the quality of a $150 room. If the price came down to something like $40–$60 per night, I'd stay here again for the excellent service.

Don't judge a book by it's cover! When we first arrived it looked a little scary and I was hesitant about staying there. I decided to check in anyway since I had already paid and was very pleasantly surprised. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and pool was very nice. It also has a nice breakfast with waffles, cereal, yogurt, toast and other things. I would stay here again if I came through this area.

Not very clean. Old outdated room. Large gap in door that you can see the outside through. Not in a very nice area of town. Desk staff were hard to understand (broken English)

Check in was easy, they had my reservation ready and at the price quoted by Expedia. Hotel was older but had had some renovations. Room was clean. Continental “breakfast” was very limited, muffins, waffle maker but no cup to measure batter, only whole milk was offered for cereal and there was no other beverage except coffee. Okay for one night but wouldn’t stay longer.
