Loft18 Hostel

Nice, refurbished apartment with modern interior and 2 dorm rooms. Everything was comfortable and clean. Tea, coffee and water for free. Kitchen available for use. Beds were a bit soft but comfortable, had curtain, light and power socket for each bed. 2 showers and 3 toilets (and 1 urinal) for 14 beds. Great, friendly, welcoming vibe with some long-term stayers. Nice roof top area. Great location near markets, restaurants, cafes and bars. Great value.

On 5th floor with no elevator.

Nice staff, clean facilities, quiet location.

Clean and comfortable. 10-beds dorm, bedlight, 3 power plugs, bedsheet/blanket, towel, curtain, large locker with key (ok 80L), wifi, aircon. Kitchen with fridge, toaster, microwave, one electric stove/fire. Living with tv, xbox, books (mostly in Chinese). Shower x2, soap, shampoo, hot water, hair dryer. Western toilets x2, toilet gun, toilet paper. Mosquito nets on windows. 5F, stairs only. « Free » walking tours with https://www.likeitformosa.com/tainan-downtown (but tip expected) Some maps and documentation but more for Chinese reader.

It seems there is no hostel staff at night and even part of the day (or maybe just week-end). There should be a phone/line/whatsapp contact for urgent case, not just booking.com app contact (at door and reception desk). Rooftop 6F with few chairs and one small table, also laundry space. Could benefit from more furnitures, plant and so.

The only thing is if somebody would move in the bed everybody else could feel it cause the beds shake a little… had better sleeps but in all it’s a cute hostel!!

Cozy, homey interior. Small hostel. Modern facilities, great location. Free earplugs. Good size personal lockers.

My bed squeaked but I don’t think any others did so just bad luck.

初台南で2ヶ所目のホテルでした。花園夜市、バスターミナルほかどこに行くにも便利。屋上のテラス席で市街を一望し、ゆるやかな時間を過ごすことができました。スタッフの方も顧客ファーストで台南の定宿に。階段の上り下りは大変かも。
