The room was very spacious and the location is excellent for walkability to surrounding restaurants and the beach. There were a lot of options at breakfast.

There was nothing about the hotel itself I didn't like. I wish we wouldn't have been next to the "neighbors" we had, but again, that's nobody's fault.

Breakfast was plentiful, delicious and well laid out.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in almost every regard, particularly due to its fantastic location. Situated right by the stunning shores of Lake Superior, it offered breathtaking views that were especially captivating during the early morning hours. Even though it was April, the crisp air and the serene atmosphere made watching the sunrise a truly memorable experience. The hotel amenities were also impressive. I spent some enjoyable moments relaxing in the pool and hot tub, which provided the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploration. The breakfast served was delightful, featuring a variety of options that were both tasty and satisfying. One of the best parts was that the dining area didn't feel overcrowded. Overall, my stay was both enjoyable and rejuvenating, making it a truly great getaway! for a weekend jaunt with my elder sister.

I wish I could have stayed longer; the property was lovely, and I would have liked to enjoy the view more. My only complaint is that the hot tub needed to be warmer for that time of year, and the price seemed about $75 per night too high for mid-April when there weren't many activities in Canal Park.

A bit pricey

All staff are very friendly. We loved our beautiful room overlooking the lake. The room was very spacious and we just love this hotel. We will most definitely come back next year, and we won’t consider any other hotel. We were very comfortable there. Love having my morning coffee on the balcony
