Days Inn by Wyndham DeFuniak Springs

Got there early in the morning and only slept a few hours before the guy working front desk came waltzing in our room with all of us sleeping.... it was only 9:00 and they seemed to be in a rush to get us out. Had the tiniest bathrooms I’ve ever seen. There’s storage containers around the property. Wished I’d hadn’t booked and paid for the room before we got there.

The place was clean. Air conditioner worked well, curtain was blocking the airflow, had to put something in the window to kept the curtain pushed back. King size bed was a little noisy getting in and out and I could feel the springs in some spots on the bed. Front desk was pleasant and was accommodating. when I apparently booked a smoking room by accident, they exchanged for a non-smoking room.

It’s a quaint little motel, certainly enough for 4 or fewer people per room. Having close highway access is definitely a plus.

Stated free breakfast but there wasn't. $200 a night and no breakfast, room smelled like a horse stayed there. Bathroom door wouldn't close as it looked like it had been kicked open

Nothing to like other than it was close to where we were going. The chairs appeared to be used inappropriately based on the stains, the toilet was rocking, there was a large gap at the bottom of the front door, the beds were not comfortable or clean and folks working on their car outside the room until 3am was worrying. No breakfast “due to covid” was more of an excuse at this place to staff less and provide no experience. The price was clearly a gouge because of state tournaments and over $200/night for something that seems like it should be hourly is ridiculous. The rest of our team was across the highway at the HI express and they had breakfast and clearly much cleaner facilities. Unfortunately this was also non-refundable so we couldn’t leave. Way to stick it to us. Thanks…

Quiet, clean room. Staff very courteous and promptly answered any questions. I will stay here again.

Overall ok accommodations, need to ask for things a lot

The condition of the back was pretty bad with broken gates and just looked junky. When we got in the room there was a terrible smell when you turned the water on it was way worse. Smelled like a dead animal of some sort.

I wish I could say that this property was worth the price I paid, but it was not. There were no services provided including breakfast. My room was not as clean as I had hoped. It had no soap, remote did not look clean and was missing the battery cover, the bed spread had a cigarette burn hole in it, and there was a water leak behind the toilet. I also know that the couple checking in before me as a walk-in reservation paid less than I did as a hotel.com customer.

Dirty bathroom with a stained toilet lid! Rubber bath mat was dirty and had hair on it! Disgusting! Stained mattress and mattress pad! Poor quality mattress! Back pain from only one night! Over priced! Dirty coffee station!Will not stay there again!!! Renovations are amateurish! No lobby to feel secure when checking in! No door mat and a large space at bottom of door! I could go on…..
