It was not communicated to me that the pool was closed.. reason why we booked your property was disappointed

Pool closed and was given the impression that breakfast was complimentary and it was not

Ice machine was not working and your website does not mention you have to pay for breakfast.

It was a good stay if the pool would have been open it would have been great . Only complaint was sugar ants on night stand in room

I have been going to the Red Lion Yakima Convention Center since the late 1990s and have never been so disgusted with a hotel. When making my reservation I clicked on the hotel’s website however, my reservation ended up being through a third party. What out! That’s pretty sneaky! Our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and dankness. The amount of lighting was extremely poor. The website states there is free wi-fi and cable TV however, our building did NOT have wi-fi and the TV showed the cable line-up but wouldn’t even connect to the antenna for the news. How can ONE of the buildings NOT have wi-fi? We were also looking forward to the breakfast the next more and were told by the front desk that they weren’t serving breakfast because it was too slow and were waiting for the summer to start up again. We found out the next morning that breakfast was indeed being offered after we had driven across town and came back to check out. The Red Lion franchise used to be a top-of-the-line hotel chain rivaled only to Hilton, but in Yakima, WA this is no longer the case. This particular location has gone downhill so much that I will neither stay there nor recommend it to anyone out of convenience if they’re attending an event at the convention center. Better off to stay across the street at the Holiday Inn Express, down the street at the Hilton, or down the road a few miles to the Comfort Inn.
